Reliable as always

This was my fifth time using WorldRemit, and they were consistent. I sent an instant money transfer, and it arrived within minutes as usual. I've tried their cash pickup and bank transfer services before too, and they've always been reliable. I keep coming back because I know what to expect. They're just a solid choice for international money transfers.

Good deal on first transfer

I used WorldRemit for the first time to send money home. I found a new customer offer for zero fees on my first transaction, which was great. It definitely felt worth it not paying extra fees. The bank transfer went through in a few hours, so I was happy with the value.

Mostly good, one small issue

I sent money through WorldRemit using a bank transfer. The overall process was pretty smooth; the website was easy enough to navigate, and the transfer arrived in about a day, which was acceptable. I did have a small hiccup with verifying my ID initially, it took a couple of tries to get it accepted. Customer service was helpful when I called, but it added a little delay. Still, the fees were competitive compared to other services I've used, so it was a decent experience.

Hey, I need to send money to someone in a pretty remote area, will they be able to pick up cash? Or is it only big cities?

J Jessica H. 3 weeks ago
WorldRemit actually has a pretty wide network for cash pickup, not just major cities. You can check on their site which specific locations are available for your destination country before you send.

D Daniel Perez 3 weeks ago
It depends on the country, but I've sent cash for pickup to some smaller towns in Africa and Asia. Just make sure to confirm the exact pickup location with the recipient first.

Is WorldRemit pretty good compared to like, Wise or Remitly? Looking for something reliable for monthly transfers.

R Richard 1 month ago
I've used both WorldRemit and Wise. WorldRemit is great for cash pickup options which Wise doesn't really do as much. Rates are competitive across the board though.

For monthly stuff, WorldRemit works well. I find their app really user-friendly, and they often have better rates to certain countries than Remitly sometimes, you just gotta check for your specific corridor.

Thinking of sending a larger amount, maybe a few thousand. Is WorldRemit safe for that, like for a house payment or something?

A Amber Jackson 3 weeks ago
They are totally safe. They're a regulated financial service. For larger amounts, they might ask for more ID, but that's just standard procedure for security.

I've sent several thousand before. Never had an issue. The main thing is making sure all your recipient details are spot on to avoid delays.

Hey guys, thinking about sending some money home for Eid. Does WorldRemit usually have any special deals around holidays like that?

R Rachel Mitchell 2 weeks ago
Yeah, they totally do! I used them for Diwali last year and got a fee-free transfer. Keep an eye out closer to the date, they usually announce stuff.

D David F. 2 weeks ago
They often have 'seasonal fee-free days' or similar. It's usually a waiver on the fixed fee, not a percentage discount though. Still good!

What's the deal with promo codes? Can I use one if I've already sent money before, or is it just for new users?

A Ashley Lee 4 weeks ago
Mostly new user stuff, like 3 free transfers or your first one free. Existing customer codes are super rare, almost nonexistent.

O Olivia Allen 4 weeks ago
Yeah, they really push the new customer offers. If you have a friend who uses it, you might get a referral bonus from them though, that's one way for existing users to benefit.
